About five years ago, Fairytale Brownies attended its first Chocolate Show in New York City to sell brownies to chocolate lovers on the East Coast. With 20,000 plus in attendance, we made quite a few new friends. We returned each year since then (except this year) and were welcomed back by many of those dedicated fudge brownie lovers. One fan in particular has been our champion spokesperson - Merle Exit.
Merle is a journalist, comedian and most recently book author ("Whirl with Merle - It's a Humorous Life") who discovered us in 2005 while covering the Chocolate Show for a story she was writing. She has continued to promote Fairytale on her talk radio show. Whenever she travels for her stories, she spreads the brownie word as well. We're so glad Merle loves our brownies!
Most recently, she was interviewing the cast and director of a New York show called "The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever" and took a moment to talk about her talk radio sponsor, Fairytale Brownies. Everyone was so interested in the brownies that the 30-second spot turned into a 5-minute infomercial! Thank you, Merle!
Here is the link to Merle's mention of us. She eventually does talk about the show.
