Cream cheese topping dresses up brownies for visiting guests

My nephew is getting married this weekend and there will be plenty of out-of-town guests arriving... beginning today!

I've discovered that fudgy chocolate brownies from Fairytale Brownies make the perfect treat when guests arrive. Not knowing when they had their last meal, eating a dark chocolate brownie will satisfy the hunger until the next mealtime arrives.

Fairytale Brownies by themselves are always a treat for my guests, but I recently experimented with a cream cheese/powdered sugar mixture to sandwich between two bite-sized brownie pieces. Then I tossed in some chocolate chips to add a little crunch. With some of the brownie pieces, I just spooned a dollop of the mixture and placed a chocolate chip on top.

I used Peanut Butter, Caramel, Chocolate Chip, and Cream Cheese brownies, and all of them tasted quite delicious. For this recipe, you can use any brownie flavor you like.

Cream Cheese Mixture
1 8 oz. package Cream Cheese
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 - 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Mix together. After assembling, keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
