houseOur "Brownie House" is finished!

Kari, Eileen and I have been building a house to be exhibited at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix next week.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix is sponsoring the event "Home Sweet Home, a gingerbread show," and will receive 100 percent of the proceeds from the silent auction to be held on Dec. 2.

The public is invited to view all 25 house creations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 25 - Dec. 2 at the Arizona Science Center, 600 E. Washington St., Phoenix.

bricksEach house represents the creators' interpretion of a "home," as it relates to life, career or special interest. Our Fairytale Brownies house is made mostly of gourmet brownies, cookies and other Fairytale Brownies product ingredients.

From toffee pieces (roof) to caramel sheets (front door), brownie bricks (walls) to pecan halves (accents), we had a great time discovering other uses for our ingredients. Fairytale's snowflakes are really coconut flakes and the pine trees are cookies. Our door step is made of Candy Cane Truffles, and our pavers are Mint Chocolate cookies.

If you have family or friends visiting the area this holiday weekend, come view the gingerbread creations at the science center. Just don't come hungry!
