Although July 4 has come and gone, and Fairytale Brownies was a part of my weekend dessert menu, the rest of this week seems to be fudge brownie-filled as well!My middle son is leaving for Air Force pilot training tomorrow, and I'm sending him off with some gourmet cookies and fudgy chocolate brownies to make the trip a little sweeter. I'm worried about him not having anyone to talk with on the trip, so the goodies will keep him company until he eats all of them.
The rest of us will be traveling to Portland, Ore., to visit our oldest son. Guess what we're taking with us on the road trip? The best brownies ever, of course!
