This "Magic Morsel" isn't ready for chocolate just yet

We at Fairytale Brownies love BABIES!

So when our co-worker Kari Gayes brought in her 1-month-old Katharine Leigh, we pretty much gathered around the two of them to take turns admiring our new little "Magic Morsel."

Kat slept through all of our chatter. We commented on who she looked more like - mom or dad (she looks like both her parents!). We took her socks off to admire her little toes, and predicted that she will be a pianist with her long fingers. She still slept!

I decided to tempt the little one with chocolate. I know I would wake up for chocolate any day, but not Kat. Notice how she peacefully sleeps in her mama's arms despite the fudgy chocolate Magic Morsel resting on her chest. The gourmet brownie is just waiting to be tasted!

But Kat is having none of it.

Time to bring in the authority on fudge brownies!

David, one of our co-founders, used his male charm and got Kat to finally wake up! This spurred more discussion about what color Kat's eyes will be and what we thought she was saying as all of us checked her out.

Kat stayed awake long enough for us to take a couple of pictures, but then she was out again... probably dreaming about chocolate and what her favorite brownie flavor is going to be when she gets some teeth.

I have to say that my favorite brownie is Toffee Crunch, but my favorite "Morsel" is Kat!
