KNIX Rocks!

On Wednesday morning this week my good friend Erin and I got to do something really cool! Erin won us tickets to go into the KNIX studio for a breakfast broadcast with our favorite country band Lady Antebellum. When she won the tickets they asked her to please bring 100 non-perishable food items to donate to St. Vincent De Paul. Every year KNIX does what they call The Million Can Crusade. They broadcast from several different locations and collect as many donations as they can. This event was the kick off. We had no problem getting over 100 items together with the help of my co-workers. Everyone here is very familiar with St. Vincent De Paul because we donate our fudgy chocolate brownie edges to them.

Here is a photo of everyone that won and all the food donations we brought.

I am the 6th person from the left and my friend Erin is the 8th (she is wearing a red sweater)

It was such an awesome experience to be up close and personal with my favorite band. Erin and I will be sending a big box of gourmet brownies to thank the KNIX crew for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Here is a picture of Erin and I with the band, Lady Antebellum.
