Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! Today is Black Friday
so I'm sure lots of you were out shopping bright and early this
morning. Not us! Okay, maybe some of us hit a store or two on
our way to work. Everyone at Fairytale Brownies is
working away today. As you all know this is our busiest time
of year so a day can not go by without all the bakers, shippers,
customer service and everyone else here working to get all your
holiday brownie gifts full-filled! The day after Thanksgiving...Read More » »
Last week our Corporate Sales Assistant, Kristie (who also happens
to be my sister) was told by my nephew Joe that she
needed to bring his stuffed animal who he calls Rikki to work with
her. Rikki is actually an otter but my nephew is convinced that he
is a mongoose like on the old cartoon Rikki Tikki
Tavi. I know this is very silly but I wanted to share
some of the adventures that Rikki went on at the Fairytale
Bakery!
Rikki started off his morning by helping to greet customers in the retail...Read More » »

On Wednesday morning this week my good friend Erin and I got to do
something really cool! Erin won us tickets to go into the
KNIX studio for a breakfast broadcast with our favorite
country band Lady Antebellum. When she won the tickets they
asked her to please bring 100 non-perishable food items
to donate to St. Vincent De Paul. Every year KNIX does what they
call The Million Can Crusade. They broadcast from several
different locations and collect as many donations as they can. This
event was...Read More » »

Our friends at 1HappyCorner.com are having
another contest to giveaway a box of our delicious gourmet

celebrate my birthday which is on Saturday the 17th and Eileen's
birthday which is today! We went to The Farm at South Mountain and
ate at their Farm Kitchen restaurant. I had never been there before
but have always wanted to try it. It was such a lovely experience.
We ordered our lunch, that they serve in these cute baskets and
took it out to one of their picnic benches. It was a little warm in
the sun but the pecan trees...Read More » »
Make sure you don't forget that
next Friday the 16th is bosses day! Stay (or get) on your
bosses good side by sending him or her a box of fudgy chocolate
brownies. With several gifts to fit any budget we are sure we can
help you find the perfect gift. If your boss is a coffee drinker we
have a coffee and chocolate gift would be perfect for them!

Here is a photo of Kari, me
and Alyssa that was taken after the Walk for Hope on Sunday.
We were pretty popular amongst the other walkers when they found
out our bags were stuffed with fudgy chocolate
brownies!

Of course the
well known Holiday in October is Halloween. As usual though I
like to look up the bizarre, crazy, silly and unknown holidays.
There are a lot in October that I thought were very
interesting!October is National Bake and Decorate Month - Let Fairytale Brownies do the baking and you can do the decorating! Last Sunday for a football party I took 12 chocolate chip brownies, put them in a pan and frosted them with green cream cheese frosting. Then I decorated them like a football...Read More » »
