It's a big weekend coming up for us . . . .my wedding anniversary, my husband's birthday and of course, The Kentucky Derby!  Every year we try to come up with unique ways to celebrate, considering we have multiple celebrations lumped into one day.  This year we'll be celebrating with friends at one of the resorts and we'll be hosting everyone in our suite.  Of course, we need to have some Kentucky Derby themed fare, which will definitely include some Fairytale Brownies for munching, not to...

The box of gourmet brownies certainly cheered up our office when our manager brought them over, they are vanishing quickly among our team as though fae are spiriting them away. The brownies were a pure delight of soft chocolate that melts on the tongue. So many tempting flavors to choose from, but a girl has to be good...or at least pretend to be. My mother lived a long and good life until dementia took her mind away several years ago, and then physical illness took her body two months ago.

Next week, we begin a photo shoot for our Fall 2012 Fairytale Brownies catalogs. That means that this week, I am buried in spreadsheets and lists (as you can see), getting all the final details ironed out before packing up the gourmet brownies, cookies and new bars to head over to our photographer's studio for the better part of 3 weeks.
