Although it has been several years now, the experience is still fresh in my mind. I was given up for adoption as an infant in 1962, as were a brother and sister a few years later. I have been fortunate enough to have been reunited with them as well as having found both biological parents. Neither my brother nor sister had ever met our biological mother until our trip to Arizona. My siblings met our biological Mom in Phoenix and it was quite the emotional time for all of us.
She took us on a great tour of Arizona and my one and only request was that we visit Chandler to go the the Fairytale Brownie Factory. I wrote ahead and told them of the upcoming reunion. Unfortunately, the tours were not at a time that would work with our hectic schedule. This was a dissapointment, especially to me! But, much to my surprise they offered us a private tour and the rest is history. We had the best time learning how everything worked and even a better time sampling the brownies. We all went home fat and happy and with a big bag of brownies to take home. Above all, the memories are forever!
