My mother lived a long and good life until dementia took her mind away several years ago, and then physical illness took her body two months ago.

Understanding quality of life and the aging body, I know in my head that she couldn't live forever. Unfortunately, my heart wishes otherwise.

Next week, we begin a photo shoot for our Fall 2012 Fairytale Brownies catalogs. That means that this week, I am buried in spreadsheets and lists (as you can see), getting all the final details ironed out before packing up the gourmet brownies, cookies and new bars to head over to our photographer's studio for the better part of 3 weeks.
