Fairytale's new Cinnamon Crumb Blondie is a hit with most everyone who tries one.
Because the brown sugar treat reminds me of apple pie without the apples, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create an apple "something" with my new favorite blondie. I cut up several Cinnamon Crumb Blondie bars and mixed them with apple pie fililng, cinnamon and some caramel sauce.
I popped the mixture into a 350-degree oven and waited for the kitchen to smell "appley."
I scooped some piping hot Apple Cinnamon Crumb Blondie mixture and placed it in a bowl; then topped it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
I must say, it was heavenly. So much so, that the next day when I went to serve myself another helping, I found an empty serving dish in the sink. Apparently other family members enjoyed the new blondie treat as well and ate it all!
Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the creation. You'll just have to trust me when I say that adding apples, more cinnamon and a little bit of caramel sauce will...Read More »
Today, on Peanut Butter Fudge Day, I remember my first Fairytale Brownie. Even though it was eight years ago, I remember the delicious experience because it was right after my first interview at the Fairytale Brownies bakery.
I didn't eat breakfast before the job interview, so as I eyed the refrigerated display of 12 flavors of fudge brownies, my stomach roared a loud growl of hunger...
I always seem to make the best first impressions!
I quickly chose the Peanut Butter fudge brownie. I figured if I spent any more time thinking about the other available flavors, who knew what else my stomach would decide to "say."
When I returned to my car and finally unwrapped the brownie, I tasted pure enchantment. I couldn't believe such chocolaty goodness could be found in a packaged brownie. I was hooked and couldn't wait to try the other 11 flavors.
Of course, after eight years I've tried all of the flavors many times and my favorites have changed as well. But because it was my first, the Peanut Butter...Read More »
Instead of sending holiday gifts to clients in December, many businesses are opting to ship their brownie gifts in November.
That seems logical, since November is the month of Thanksgiving. Businesses generally send food gifts to thank customers and clients for their business, referrals, or loyalty.
Sending a Fairytale Brownies gift early is a good idea because you’ll beat the influx of other holiday treats. That means more time to savor the fudge brownies, soft and chewy cookies and buttery blondie bars!
Right now, you can save 20% on all of Fairytale Brownies Thank You gifts. Purchase any Thank You gift through Nov. 18, using the source code ML643, and the discount will be applied. The gift does NOT need to ship by the 18th, so you can plan ahead and still save 20%.
You’re welcome!Read More »

November is coming, and in MY family, this month marks the beginning of a nonstop three-month celebration. There are 13 immediate family birthdays, five friend birthdays, my wedding anniversary, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It all ends with my husband's birthday in January. I'm glad Fairytale Brownies has plenty of special occasion bands to help me through my "season of partying."
Birthday brownies to the family members and friends.
Anniversary treats to the husband...
Thanksgiving sweets to the family out of town...
Of course, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Celebrate the Season for all of the December occasions.
But my new go-to food gift this year is going to be Fairytale Brownies' Sparkling Tower. It is sold in a 2-Box, 3-Box or 4-Box Tower option and includes gourmet brownies, chewy cookies, and buttery blondie bars.
I love the bubbly box! It reminds me of champagne, fireworks and all things happy. I might have to buy a tower gift for myself NOW to start the festivities off right.

In our case, childhood friends David Kravetz and Eileen Spitalny launched Fairytale Brownies in the fall of 1992. They baked late at night in a friend’s catering kitchen. With the support of family, friends, and a secret family recipe, they built the successful business that Fairytale Brownies is today.
Our success took hard work, perseverance, and at least a little bit of luck.
That’s why we were struck by the story of Valorie Mitts of Oak Park, Ill. In 2008, Valerie was forced to close the Lil’ Red Wagon Coffee House.
Fortunately, Valerie refused to give up her dream.
According to the Forest Park Patch, she reopened the Lil’ Red Wagon Coffee House in April of this year and business is booming. The coffee shop sells sandwiches, wraps, soups, and muffins, but the focus is on Valerie’s unique cookie creations. She’s...Read More »
National Espresso Day is November 23. That’s just fine for me. After all, I’m caffeinating right now as I write this post.
Espresso makes a tasty – and eye-opening – morning beverage. It also makes a delicious gourmet brownie. When you have Espresso Nib Sprites or Espresso Nib Brownies delivered to your home or office, they’re filled with a rich espresso flavor and sprinkled with crushed cocoa nibs.
Now, in honor of National Espresso Day and courtesy of Wikipedia, here are three facts about espresso.
During the first couple of weeks working at Fairytale Brownies, each team member shadow trains with every department to get a feel for who does what and how the company runs.
On the day I shadow trained with the baking department, we made Walnut fudge brownies. Plump, tender walnuts were weighed and distributed across batter-filled trays so that once baked, each brownie bite would include a walnut piece.
I remember fighting the urge to imitate Little Jack Horner and retreive one of those tempting nutty bits with my fingers. Nothing like being fired my first week on the job! Although I resisted, eight years later, the thought still seems tempting.
Check out this tray of Pecan fudge brownies. Don't you just want a piece?
Today is National Nut Day. Celebrate with your favorite nut - the NUTRITIOUS: walnut, pecan, hazelnut, almond, etc. - and the WACKY: husband, wife, mom, dad, brother, sister, friend, etc.
