My personal story with chocolate and brownies started at 10 yrs old.I was at a local fair and I won 25 pounds of chocolate... every childs wildest dream..and every parents nightmare... when the called my name for the raffle, my dad made it to the stage first. by the time I arrived almost all my chocolate was gone!!!!...he was a very giving man, and as the dad of a minor..and he said...he gave me the $2 to spend...which instead of rides like my brother and sister.. i chose raffle tickets to win chocolate. I was so upset that I grabbed 3 boxes and went in a corner and ate a whole pound!(still cant believe it!) That night I was rushed to the hospital.. to find out I had to stay away from eating chocolate for years. I swelled up like a balloon and had trouble breathing... so I decided since I couldnt eat it, to develop my own recipe and test others for brownies.. at least I could smell the chocolate and then get peoples reactions. My brownies were so good that some of the most wealthy people in America at the time who were aquaintences, asked me to start making their brownies for themselves and party guests!.... then the brownie making subsided and I was able to become a chocoholic again... so when I discovered Fairytale Brownies, my dreams came true! My faves are Toffee Crunch, Caramel, cheesecake, and plain. Thank you Fairy Tale Brownies for coming into our lives!
