My name is Janet O’Leary, HR/Operations Assistant for Fairytale Brownies. I have been employed here since 2002 and I am so happy to be sharing Janet’s Journal with you!
I have many responsibilities in my role in HR with the biggest being the recruiting & hiring of seasonal team members. I enjoy helping people and love to talk, so I think I have the perfect job!

Okay, I will admit I'm getting older but, how many people can
say they have had a best friend
for 50 years? Well, I can! My BFF Maureen, who lives in Ohio
is visiting me for one glorious week! She is leaving the snow &
cold behind for some warmer weather, sunshine, and
quality girl time! Over the past 38 years, we
have traveled to California, Ohio, Georgia, and Arizona to
spend time together and have seen each other through the good,

Brownie batter, baseball chatter, does it really matter? Both
are sweet to my ears... Cactus League Baseball; that's all I'm
saying. For those that know me, know that I am all things baseball,
and a huge fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks! I have been
counting the days since the last game in 2011. I have to
admit, (should I admit??) I watched 160 baseball games last

Say hello to Joseph Ramon
The Fairytale Brownies family is happy to announce the birth of our
newest addition, Joseph Ramon, born to Shipping Team Member,
Cindy Morales! Joseph is the 7th baby born into the Fairytale
family this year! A few more babies and we will have our
very own baseball team! Joseph was born November 28,
2011 and weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs. 11 ounces! Mom & baby
are doing great and are enjoying some well deserved rest and

A friend of mine won an NFL sweepstakes that included 47 yard
line tickets to the Steeler/Cardinal game last Sunday! Being that
we are both from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, it only made
sense for him to invite me! Growing up in Steeler
Country, we both had a great appreciation for this game and
the ridiculous seats! 18th row directly behind the Steelers

I recently returned from a trip the Buckeye State where I was born
and raised. I have to give kudos to the Ohio weatherman
for providing perfect weather for my entire 7 day stay! Blue skies,
cool mornings & warm afternoons was something I enjoyed
daily. The scenery was magnificent! A road trip is a must
this time of year; there was was a blanket of robust red,
bright yellow, and burnt orange foliage that embraced every

I am planning a trip to Ohio next week to celebrate the
wedding of my nephew Dominic and his fiance, Camie. Holy Toledo,
here I come!!! I am looking forward to a week filled
with family, friends, and cooler temperatures! Growing up in
Ohio and now living in Arizona makes me long for the
beautiful fall foliage of bright yellows, robust reds, and

hello to Andres! He is the newest little "magic morsel" to be
born into the Fairytale
Brownies family! Baking team member, Maria Vega recently gave
birth to a happy, healthy 5.5 pound baby boy! If my math serves me
right, Andres is the 6th baby born into the FTB family this
year and we still have one more coming before year end!
Something in the water? Not sure, but babies are being born almost
monthly around here and we love it!
