Today is my Fairytale-iversary! :) That's right, I've been on the marketing team at Fairytale Brownies developing and selling gourmet brownie gifts for five years now. I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone. So, this morning I'm thinking about all that has transpired since I first walked into the Fairytale Bakery in 2006. The picture at left is from a trade show I attended just a couple of months after I started working here.

When I started, our current building was under construction, and now we are planning for our sixth holiday season here. I have seen several Belgian chocolate brownie flavors come and go, a new logo, lots of new gift and packaging selections, two Food Network features, one big KaBOOM! playground project (that's me at right painting a basketball court in April 2011) and now the introduction of gourmet Fairytale Cookies, our first non-brownie product line. In my personal life, I've gotten married, earned my MBA and had a baby since I started. I can only imagine what the next 5 years will bring!

As we approach the company's 20th year of baking and shipping mail order brownies in 2012, I know great things are on the horizon, and I hope I am here to help it all unfold for many years to come.
