Hello!  I'm Kim Silva, the Operations Team Leader for Fairytale Brownies.  Throughout my many years with Fairytale Brownies I have spent time working in various roles within the organization, learning along the way what it takes to make a company great, and great is what Fairytale Brownies is - from our delicious gourmet products, to our dedicated and talented staff!

It's been an awesome experience watching Fairytale Brownies grow and to be a part of it since the beginning.  I am very fortunate to be involved with such an incredible organization.  From the days of being a small start-up business where we peddled our gourmet brownies at street fairs and farmer's markets, to a now very successful mail order, retail and wholesale business with thousands of customers across the world!  In my current role I oversee the Operations for the business, which includes Production, Fulfillment, Human Resources, Service and New Product Development.

Every year, for the last four years, the ALS Association Arizona Chapter has hosted "Bite Nite", a culinary event to raise funds in support of ALS patients and their families here in the Valley.  This year they chose Fairytale Brownies as one of the desserts to give away at the end of the evening, and everyone was thrilled to have a little taste of gourmet Belgian chocolate brownies, always a favorite!

Welcome new Fairytale Brownies baby, Hilary Nicole!  Hilary was born on Friday, May 3rd and weighed 6lbs 8oz.  The lucky new mom is none other than one of our fabulous Fairytale Brownies bakers, Maria Vega!

I recently journeyed home for a brief visit and to my great surprise, my mom served my morning cup of coffee in a Fairytale Brownies coffee mug!  I didn't realize that this little gem was still around, it's been quite some time and I don't have any left of my own.  Some of our customers may recall that years ago we sold coffee mugs in gift packages that contained coffee and cocoa, along with Fairytale Brownies.

Each year we sample our Fairytale Brownies at the NASFT Fancy Food Show. There are over 17,000 attendees, over 80,000 products to see and sample, and over 1,300 exhibitors representing over 35 countries there. Recently, we attended the winter show in San Francisco to sample our yummy Belgian chocolate brownies and gourmet Fairytale cookies. 

The Fancy Food Show is an arena for gourmet foods from all over the world, which makes it even more fun for us because we get to see and sample scrumptious...

It seems hard to believe, but the holiday season has arrived and things are really bustling around Fairytale Brownies.  We always look forward to this time of year, and it seems to come around quicker each time. . . but no worries, we're well prepared to fulfill all your holiday gift needs!

I was just visiting the Fairytale Brownies bakery kitchen, and they were taking Double Chocolate cookies out of the oven.  I wanted to grab one "hot" off the line and just out of the oven, but alas, we're not allowed to do that . . . . In my humble opinion though, I do think they are the best cookies around!
