My niece, Sophia, recently took on the task at school of raising money for the local homeless shelter in El Paso, TX in order to support the animals living at the shelter with their families.  They hosted a bake sale at school and I thought it would be awesome for her to have something special to sell.  Immediately Fairytale Brownies and Fairytale Cookies came to mind. . .  they are such special gourmet treats, I just knew the local folks would enjoy having something unique and delicious to...Read More » »

Gourmet Brownie GIftsI was talking to my husband earlier today and was mentioning some upcoming things about the holidays. . . he was somewhat taken aback and said "what are you talking about, the holidays are quite a ways off"?!  Well, I had to remind him that in my world at Fairytale Brownies, that time is NOW.  When we think of the holiday season, it's not just Christmas or December we're talking about, but everything else that happens from September through December.

We have most of our holiday teams on board and...Read More » »

Fairytale Brownies- Sure to bring a smile!

One day last week I drove into our cul de sac and saw some mail lying in the middle of the street - I think with all the dust storms we've had recently it must have blown out of a mailbox, it was somewhat weathered.  I picked it up and saw that it belonged to our neighbors, so I proceeded to their front door to deliver their mail.  Upon delivery, my neighbor (who I don't know very well) started to ask if I was the one who worked at Fairytale Brownies. . . . . I answered proudly, "yep,...

Saturday, July 9, 2011
My niece and nephew, Rowdy and Sophia, were here on summer break from Texas for about a week.  While in Phoenix the kids were lucky enough to visit me at work for my birthday. . . what kid wouldn't enjoy a personal, behind the scenes tour of Fairytale Brownies?!

I sometimes forget how special a tour of a chocolate factory can be, so it was exciting for me to show them the different processes in making gourmet Belgian chocolate brownies, cookies and truffles.  They also learned about making...Read More » »

Bite NiteRecently, the ALS Association Arizona Chapter and the Spark Hope Foundation hosted their annual Bite Nite Fundraiser www.bitenite.org.  This particular charity holds a special place in my heart because my mother-in-law, Mary, was diagnosed with ALS a few years ago.  She struggles each and everyday to live life to the fullest, an admirable feat considering ALS is so extremely debilitating.  Mary had the honor of co-chairing this year's event and was in charge of sourcing various donations for the...

In conjunction with the grand opening was a hilarious comedy show at StandUp Live, which is connected to Copper Blues. My nephew recently graduated from high school and we were at a loss for what to send for the big celebration. We were not able to attend in person, but decided we wanted to share something from Arizona that would be unique and yummy. . . . Fairytale Brownies, of course!

Congratulations Brownies Along with a small donation towards his college fund (and I mean really small), we sent a congratulatory gift box of fudgy chocolate brownies.  We figured he could use some decadent gourmet brownies to share with the many family...Read More » »

One of our friends recently moved to Phoenix from New Mexico to undergo a bone marrow transplant.  She is a two time breast cancer survivor and recently found out she has Leukemia.  She arrived in the Valley a few weeks before her treatments were to begin so she could get settled in, and we had the privilege of spending some quality time with her.

The one thing she requested before beginning her treatments were Fairytale Brownies.  Our fudgy chocolate brownies are one of her all-time favorite...
