This past
Sunday, the United States commemorated it's 234th birthday!
And many of us commemorated that with cookouts, parties, swimming,
and of course, fireworks! Those of us who are chocoholics had
to add in...Fairytale
Brownies! My in-laws had close family friends in from out of town over the long weekend. We were invited to a cookout there on Sunday for the 4th. Of course, I volunteered to bring Belgian Chocolate Brownies as a wonderful way to end dinner, and the out-of-town guests had yet...Read More » »
I
know most people don’t associate fudgy chocolate
brownies with the hot days of summer, but I’m sure there are
MANY different ways to use them for cool, delicious desserts or
snacks for the whole family! As many of you all know, our rich
Belgian chocolate
brownies are able to be stored in the refrigerator or
freezer. Did you know that you can eat them in that solid
state? They’re wonderfully dense, almost like a true fudge
when they’re cold, and they cool you down marvelously! I'm
especially...Read More » »Fairytale Brownies and Graduation - What a Combo!
Thursday, June 24, 2010
Speaking of, my best friend, Carmen Nason of Wichita Falls, TX recently graduated from the RN program after 2 years of hard work and sacrifice, including her husband being deployed from the Air Force Reserves. While she was in school & working a full time job as a CNA, I decided to ship browniesto her family just because she deserved a...Read More » »
I have to admit, I have a great daycare provider for my daughter. They cater to the school-age kids and diversify their activities during the summer with field trips, water play days, Wii Olympics…you name it, they’ve probably done it! Recently, as thank you gifts for the director Heather, and assistant directors Deann and Lisa, I’ve been delivering our Belgian chocolate brownies. Now, mind you, this is a daycare center, so nut products are prohibited, therefor I make sure to only bring the...
Read More » »My daughter recently had her first slumber party! She invited her closest friends from school, and made a “fun-genda”. For all of you without daughters, that’s “fun” and “agenda”. Of course, her agenda included Fairytale Brownies. She even reminded me "Mommy, make sure you bring home some fudge brownies."
The night began when moms dropped off their girls at our house. All of them wanted only one thing to start with; swimming. They all RAN to my daughter’s room, did a quick change, and were in...

Thursday, June 3, 2010

This past weekend we celebrated
Memorial Day (originally called Decoration Day) as our nation’s way
of commemorating all of our proud U.S. Soldiers who have given
their lives in service to our country. Fairytale Brownies supports our forces deployed
worldwide. We send our Belgian chocolate brownies to the
troops overseas, and we receive nothing but gratitude and happiness
in return.
As a way to help everyone who would like to send brownies on their
own, we offer Free Shipping to all...

I admit, my daughter Elizabeth is
not a picky eater. There are very few foods that she will
utterly refuse, and our delicious, fudgy brownies CERTAINLY aren’t
one of those. However, she has a cute BFF…and her BFF (best
friend forever) is an extremely picky eater. When she comes to
spend the night, we plan the meal that night around her tastes to
accommodate her.
Well, my daughter was invited to spend the night over at her house one night in November. I thought, hmmm, let’s send a couple of...

Thursday, May 20, 2010

November 14, 2009 was the date of the most recent DragonFly920 benefit motorcycle run for Hernando/Pasco Hospice, located close to Tampa, Florida. My in-laws fly down yearly to help with the set-up and to help Uncle Artie (my uncle-in-law) get everyone registered. This year, I sent them with wonderful gourmet brownie gifts to share with all the friends and relatives involved. Being that some of my father-in-law’s relatives eat only Kosher foods, I thought this would be an ideal gift from all of...

My husband Jeff, in a bid to make himself healthier, decided in
February that it was time for him to go on a diet. He was not
happy with how he felt, and decided to change it, like most of us
do. At that time, I wasn’t here at Fairytale Brownies, so he
had few temptations to overcome. Two short months, and quite a
few pant sizes later, he had lost about 30 pounds, and I was
invited back to Fairytale
Br...
