National Espresso Day is November 23. That’s just fine for me. After all, I’m caffeinating right now as I write this post.
Espresso makes a tasty – and eye-opening – morning beverage. It also makes a delicious gourmet brownie. When you have Espresso Nib Sprites or Espresso Nib Brownies delivered to your home or office, they’re filled with a rich espresso flavor and sprinkled with crushed cocoa nibs.

- The espresso machine was invented in the late 1800s by Italian hotelier Angelo Moriondo. Interestingly, the invention was lightly-regarded in its time. You can learn more about this momentous event in coffee history by reading our blog post about Moriondo.
- There are many ways to enjoy espresso, as it’s the base for a variety of drinks including caffè latte, cappuccino, caffè macchiato, cafe mocha, or caffè Americano. And, of course, it’s the base for some of our favorite gourmet brownies.
