Now that the Arizona evening temperatures are cooling, more people will be spending time outdoors. If you're looking for something to do on a Thursday evening, check out the Miller Market on 1st Street in Scottsdale.
The weekly market is similar to, but isn't really, a farmers market. Each Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the family-friendly community event will include local and regional food vendors, artists, and musicians.
Fairytale Brownies will be selling gourmet brownies, cookies and bars once a month through April 2013 at the market. This Thursday will be our first night at the market. Come take a look around. Look for our purple van and say hello. Sample a treat and take home more for later! Mention that you read my blog or saw the market promo on Facebook or Twitter, and I might give you an extra treat.
Miller Market is the brainchild of Shauna Kupetz of JAM and Traci Zitzer of Urban Table Larder in Old Town Scottsdale. The event is held in the parking lot of JAM at 6938 E. 1st St.
Fairytale Brownies will be at the market on the following Thursdays: Oct. 11, Nov. 15, Dec. 6, Jan. 10, Feb. 7, March 14 and April 18.
