Pumpkin Spice Fudge Brownies Are Just Weeks Away From Debut

fudge browniesOoh!

Aah!

You're killing me.

What IS that?

Mmmmm!

Oh, that is the bomb.

What a pleasure to hear people's reactions to tasting Fairytale Brownies' new Pumpkin Spice Brownie at a recent trade show in Long Beach, Calif. The new seasonal brownie debuts Sept. 2 and we gave show attendees a sneak preview.

Overall, the reviews were positive. On the first day of our show, we only had one person say he didn't care for the new flavor. He not only didn't care for it, he passionately said, "I hate it."

He brought his wife back with him to our booth on the second day and told her how much he hated the fudge brownie. He wanted her to sample it and give her opinion. She tasted it and loved it.

I get it. Not everyone likes pumpkin. Not everyone likes chocolate either. I can't imagine why, but to each his own. Personally, I LOVE pumpkin. I can't wait for the season of everything pumpkin to return. And now that Fairytale will have a Pumpkin Spice Brownie, I couldn't be happier.

Our Pumpkin Spice Brownie doesn't...

New Seasonal Gourmet Brownie Flavor Popular at SAAC Show

Last week we were in Long Beach for the SAAC Show 2014 - an international trade show for distributors of promotional products. This was our second year exhibiting, and I have to say that we enjoy everything about the show - the people, the venue, the location.

This year, we introduced our new Pumpkin Spice Brownie to all SAAC Show attendees. Although the gourmet brownies will not be available for purchase until Sept. 2, we wanted to share our NEW flavor ahead of time for when it debuts. Because the Pumpkin Spice Brownie is seasonal, it will only be available for purchase between Sept. 2 and Dec. 31.

pumpkin, gourmet brownieThe Pumpkin Spice Brownie was a hit with show attendees. Even those who said they don't like pumpkin pie said they liked the brownie because the pumpkin flavor isn't overpowering. Our Pumpkin Spice brownie begins with a rich, Belgian dark chocolate base. Then we take sweet pumpkin puree and blend it with cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger, and swirl it into the brownie...

Send them to college with gourmet brownies!

It is almost that time again, back to school! For many people this means sending their bird from the nest, and off to college! It is a very exciting, but also a nerve racking time. For many freshmen, this will be their first time off on their own at a completely new place with all new people. When I was 18, I left my home of Phoenix, AZ and traveled to Seattle, WA to go to University of Washington where I knew no one. It was exciting, but also sometimes scary. I definitely got a little homesick at times!

Help comfort those brand spanking new freshman with a brownie gift basket from Fairytale Brownies! Ship brownies with them off to college and they will start making dorm friends instantly. No one can resist these fudgy bites of bliss, so it is a great ice-breaker for making new friends! The best part is you can send them brownie gifts all semester long. It is so easy to order online at brownies.com, and we have many occasions to choose from. Good Luck gifts are especially great...

Can a bake-off inspire a 13th gourmet brownie flavor?

12 gourmet browniesAt Fairytale Brownies, we love stories about best brownie contests. It just gets us all fired up about getting back into the test kitchen.

It’s true! It takes both inspiration and perspiration to add to our lineup of 12 gourmet brownie flavors. (You can try all 12 with a Fairytale Dozen.)

The Kansas City Star recently reported on a best brownie contest among culinary students at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. Kansas dessert manufacturer Tippin’s put up $1,000 as a prize for the contest.

This wasn’t your standard brownie bake-off though. All brownies had to meet commercial requirements as though they’d be distributed through grocery stores.

According to the Kansas City Star, the students didn’t let that limitation hold them back. Instead, they created brownies that were “fudge-y, cake-y, dusted with powdered sugar, thickly frosted, sprinkled with nuts, drizzled with caramel, layered with coconut, infused with raspberry jam and topped with whipped cream and cherries.”

Pair Fudgy Chocolate Brownies with Ice Cream for National Ice Cream Day!

July 20 is National Ice Cream Day, the perfect excuse to beat the heat and enjoy some cool treats! This holiday was designated by Ronald Reagan in 1984. My favorite pairing with ice cream is fudgy chocolate brownies and gourmet cookies! Order brownies delivered to you today, and enjoy the delicious pairing of Fairytale treats with ice cream! I recommend ordering bulk of the Toffee Crunch Brownie and pairing it with butter pecan ice cream. Yum!

You could also get creative and make your own ice cream and ice cream desserts. Look at my blog on homemade ice cream, where I explain how to make homemade vanilla and peanut butter brownie ice cream! We also have several ice cream recipes on brownies.com! Serve Pecan Blondies in Celebration of National Pecan Pie Day

blondie

Pecan Pie. Yes, it's normally a Thanksgiving Day dessert, but we're thinking about it in July because July 12th is National Pecan Pie Day.

If pecan pie isn't on your list of items to bake in July, you might want to save time and order a food gift of buttery brown sugar bars from Fairytale Brownies.

A Fairytale Brownies Pecan Blondie tastes so much like pecan pie, you might as well top it with vanilla ice cream and dig in. I believe Fairytale's Pecan Blondie recipe is so close to tasting like "real" pecan pie that the only ingredients missing are corn syrup and bourbon...

Hmm. Forget the corn syrup. But you might want to drink the bourbon by the pool while you savor your Pecan Blondie.

Stay Cool Through Dog Days of Summer With Gourmet Brownies

gourmet browniesAccording to the Old Farmer's Almanac, July 3 marks the beginning of the Dog Days of Summer because it coincides with the rising of the Dog Star, Sirius. Although the rising of Sirius doesn't affect the weather, temperatures seem to climb as well as our cravings for frozen treats.

Our Fairytale Brownies buddy, Chuy, isn't concerned about the Dog Star or the weather. But he is serious about gourmet brownies... and buttery bars... and, of course, chewy "chuy" cookies.

Chuy recommends using Fairytale Brownies treats for all of your summer desserts. Store fudge brownies, cookies and bars in the freezer and thaw as needed. (Some customers enjoy our products frozen!) Serve Fairytale Brownies treats by themselves or as a part of a frozen confection like an Ice Cream Sandwich or Ice Cream Sundae. Or create a brownie trifle, a brownie parfait, or a brownie pie.

Keep cool through the Dog Days of Summer with gourmet brownies from Fairytale Brownies.

Celebrate Chocolate Day with Belgian Chocolate Brownies

July 7th is Chocolate Day, and what better way to celebrate it than with some Belgian chocolate brownies from Fairytale Brownies? When you first take a bite of our rich, fudge brownies you will amaze at the decadent flavor. The reason our brownies taste so delicious is because we start with premium ingredients like farm-fresh eggs and real creamery butter. Of course the star ingredient is the chocolate, more specifically, imported Callebaut Belgian dark chocolate!

When you taste Fairytale Brownies the chocolate is sweet and oh so yummy, but did you know the chocolate you taste actually came from a vegetable? Yes, chocolate is produced from the exotic cocoa bean trees which grow in the warm and humid equatorial belt. The trees produce cocoa beans, and the seeds inside are harvested, dried, cleaned, and then roasted. The shell is then removed to produce cocoa nibs, which are then put into grinders so that they can first be ground coarsely, then to a super fine cocoa liquor. Cocoa butter...
