Gourmet brownies we’d enjoy again and again on Groundhog Day

Well, it's Groundhog Day... again…espresso nib gourmet brownie

Bill Murray’s 1993 comedy hit Groundhog Day is as key to my knowledge of the holiday as Punxsutawney Phil. As you may recall, Murray’s character was doomed to repeat Groundhog Day over and over until he managed to successfully woo costar Andie MacDowell.

Over the last couple years, we’ve asked our teammates which of our gourmet brownie and cookie gifts is their favorite. These are the treats they’d enjoy again and again … just in case Groundhog Day repeats.

“My favorites have got to be the Toffee Crunch Brownie. I love the crunchiness of the toffee when it comes straight out of the refrigerator. Also, the Fairytale Bars are just so good. I can’t resist the Cheesecake Swirl Bar. Our sweet and buttery bars can't be beat.” ~ Jasmin Santiago, retail sales

“My favorite brownie is definitely the Raspberry Swirl Brownie. The raspberry flavor just melts in your mouth. Oh, and the Peanut Butter Cookie is absolutely amazing.” ~ Donna Baker, accounting

“My favorite Fairytale Brownies product is the Peanut Butter Cookie. I love anything with peanut butter, and the peanut butter cookie is a classic-style cookie. Rich peanut butter flavor with just the right amount of crunch on the edge and soft texture in the middle. LOVE IT!” ~ Ellie Perry, customer service

“I really enjoy the Cream Cheese Brownies. They’re chocolate with smooth cream cheese swirled through. The cream cheese gives the brownies such a great flavor. It’s almost like frosting. It’s delicious.” ~ Colleen Flynn, graphic design

“My current favorite is our Peanut Butter Cookie. I’m a HUGE peanut butter lover, and the Peanut Butter Cookie satisfies that craving anytime.” ~ Melissa Eisenstein, customer service

Well that sure got me hungry for my favorite: the Espresso Nib Brownie. Fortunately, I’ve got some in my refrigerator … just in case today repeats itself!
