Unique Thank You Gift Idea from Baby!

Erin, our graphic artist here at Fairytale Brownies recently had a baby, and friends from her husbands work gave them a few baby gifts. As a unique thank you gift idea, she created these custom wraps for our 3" x 3" gourmet brownies. At home on ordinary printer paper, she created this custom thank you graphic with personalized message, and measured them to wrap precisely around the brownie end to end.

This idea would work for any large group or gathering. Wedding shower favors, baby shower favors, bachelorette party favors, birthday party favors, etc... Whatever message you wanted to say, you could do with this unique idea! The sky is the limit.

Fairytale Brownies bulk brownies are perfect for this idea. One dozen gourmet, fudgy brownies are delivered at a discounted price because there is no gift packaging involved. Simply order brownies online, create your graphic on the computer, print out - cut - then wrap around the brownies. Very easy!

If you didn't want to do all the work,...

Cookie baskets for the obsessed Cookie Clicker in your life

When we see cookies and obsession in the same sentence, we think the writer is talking about our cookie baskets. In one recent article, however, the author wasn’t even talking about real cookies.

Brian Crecente recently wrote about the “obsessive, increasingly large fan following” for the game Cookie Clicker on the gaming website Polygon. Here’s his brief overview of Cookie Clicker.

“Players have to click on a cookie to produce a cookie. Those cookies can, in turn, be used to increase cookie production through the purchase of virtual grandmas, farms, time machines and the like. There is no goal in the game beyond producing cookies at an ever increasing rate. My game, for instance, currently produces a smidge more than 28 billion cookies a second.” (You can read his full story here.)

Now, we understand a cookie obsession. But 28 billion cookies per second? Yikes!

Besides, those cookies aren’t even real! You may be better off with our Cookie Extravaganza which includes 72 cookies in your...

Gourmet brownies and Crossroads Guitar Festival music combine for a holiday gift package

Although I know of some highly organized individuals who have managed to finish their holiday shopping, I’m not one of them. If you’re like me and are still considering gift options, you might be interested in this week’s Fairytale Brownies giveaway.

gourmet browniesFairytale Brownies was proud to be a part of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 held at New York’s Madison Square Garden this past spring. Musicians were treated to gourmet brownies during the festival, and from what we can tell by the video clips, the brownies did their job. Energy was high!

Held every three years since 2004, the Crossroads Guitar Festival brings the world’s greatest musicians together to perform and raise funds for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a chemical dependency treatment and education facility founded by Eric Clapton.

The Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 was recorded and is available on two Blu-ray discs or as two DVDs. Audio highlights from the festival have been released as a 2-CD set featuring...

Gourmet Cookie S'mores

One of my favorite things about winter is cozying up next to a warm fire! This year I was a little more adventurous and went winter camping. Of course here in Arizona, it didn't get below freezing, but I did appreciate that camp fire. A great past time around the fire is roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Yum! This time, however, I decided to give it a Fairytale Brownies twist by making Peanut Butter Cookie S'mores. It was simple, fun, and delicious! Follow this recipe and instructions to make your own gourmet cookie s'mores!

You will need:
Fairytale Brownies' Peanut Butter Cookies- Two for each s'more you would like to make. Simply visit our website at brownies.com and order yourself a cookie delivery! You can buy in bulk and save, or order a cookie gift. I recommend the Peanut Butter Cookies, but try experimenting with other flavors as well!
Large Marshmallows
Chocolate Bar- I used Hershey
A metal wire or stick for roasting

Directions:
Start by laying your ingredients out at the...

Fear the fork or fear the tree; but tailgate with Fairytale Brownies

It's a big weekend for both college football fans and art festival fans in Arizona. Arizona State University will play Stanford on Saturday to see which team will go to the 100th Rose Bowl, and thousands will attend the 45th Annual Tempe Festival of the Arts along Mill Avenue.

gourmet browniesFairytale Brownies is partial to both events for several reasons.

1. Co-founders Eileen Spitalny and David Kravetz used to sell gourmet brownies at street fairs and festivals - specifically at the Tempe Festival of the Arts - when they first began the Fairytale Brownies business 21 years ago.

2. David Kravetz graduated from Stanford University.

3. Many Fairytale Brownies team members (several of us in the Marketing Department and our Operations Team Leader) graduated from Arizona State University.

4. Eileen Spitalny is a member of the Creative Impact Board for the ASU Art Museum.

5. Fairytale Brownies was a finalist for the ASU Spirit of Enterprise Award.

6. Our Senior Web Designer Hilary Lee teaches at ASU.

We couldn't...

Gourmet brownies for office meetings, family parties, or the USC football team

large gourmet brownie gift basketThe University of Southern California football team has been on a roll since firing Lane Kiffin and promoting Ed Orgeron to head coach.

According to the New York Times, one of Orgeron’s first decisions was to reinstate dessert at team meals. To quote the Times: "His reasoning: If you give a lineman a cookie, he’ll want to block for you.”

That seems like sound logic to us!

It’s unlikely that you have a locker room full of hungry college students to feed. But you may need to order brownies – lots of brownies! – for an office meeting or family party. Here are two selections from our crowd pleasers menu for big gatherings.

Weighing in at over 18 pounds, Extravaganza Delights is the ultimate gourmet brownie sampler! It includes an assortment of 12 Fairytale Brownies, 60 Fairytale Sprites, 18 Magic Morsels, 48 Fairytale Cookies and 9 Fairytale Bars.

While not quite as large as the Extravaganza Delights, our Morsel Extravaganza offers a wealth of variety in small samples. The gift includes a...
