It's a Gourmet Brownie weekend in Arizona

There's plenty to do this weekend, and Fairytale Brownies will be keeping your chocolate cravings satisfied.

First stop? AJ's Fine Foods at 4422 E. Camelback Road (44th Street and Camelback) in Phoenix. Holly will be sampling fudge brownies from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 9.

Holly also will be sampling gourmet brownies at Whole Foods, 10810 N. Tatum Blvd. (Tatum and Shea), Paradise Valley, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10.

If you don't need to stop at a grocery store on Saturday, check out the SMoCA booth at the Scottsdale Arts Festival. Everyone who participates in the Fairytale Bookmaking Art Project (where you create a miniature handmade book) will receive a Magic Morsel from Fairytale Brownies. The art project is for all ages and will be available all days of the festival (Friday - Sunday). The booth is located in front of the SMoCA entrance.

On Sunday, March 11, visitors to Devoured Culinary Classic at the Phoenix Art Museum will be treated to a FREE Peanut Butter Brownie at the Phoenix Public Market booth. Quantities of brownies are limited, so go by the booth early!

Devoured is an annual culinary event hosted by the Phoenix Art  Museum, Local First Arizona and R. Entertainment Co. to promote Arizona producers and purveyors of fine food and drink.

If you plan your weekend strategically, you could get FREE Belgian chocolate brownies for the next three days, enjoy Arizona's beautiful weather, and support local businesses.
