Friends, Celebration, and Fudgy Chocolate Brownies!

Like millions of others, I invited friends over for the 4th of July holiday for a swim party & cookout. We had your typical comfort foods that are very Americana which included hot dogs, barbeque chicken, and every side dish you could imagine. When it came to dessert, I didn't have to think too hard as my house is always filled with Belgian Chocolate Brownies!

Knowing that the kids love to be involved in anything that has to do with make-it-yourself desserts, I suggested we make Fairytale Brownie ice cream sundaes with rainbow sprinkles. I took six whole sized brownies and cut them into fourths so the kids would have a variety of flavors to choose from.  We used cream cheese, toffee crunch, chocolate chip, raspberry swirl, peanut butter, & original flavored brownies. It was no surprise to me that the kids' favorite brownie was chocolate chip as it is one of our biggest selling flavors! We took the brownie pieces and placed them nicely on top of creamy Neapolitan ice cream and then topped it off with lots of  rainbow colored sprinkles! Pure Delight . . . Look at the faces of Mackenzie & Isabella! They are proudly displaying their masterpieces for the world to see!

This was the perfect way to end our day. I received lots of hugs as the kids packed up their bags and and headed home with their bellies filled with fudgy brownies and their hearts filled with joy!
