After being in the gourmet brownie business for over 21 years, we at Fairytale Brownies often hear from our customers about how they use our brownies, bars and cookies to make amazing desserts. Over the years, we've seen (and made!) many delicious recipes ourselves. Here's one of my personal favorites. - 1/4 cup butter
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Cook butter in a small, heavy saucepot over medium heat, stirring constantly, about 6 minutes or until butter begins to turn golden brown. Immediately remove from heat. Pour butter into a small bowl. Cover and chill 1 hour or until butter begins to solidify.
Beat the butter and cream cheese at medium speed with a mixer until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla. Makes 2 cups.
