Answering the rising number of customers’ requests, Fairytale Brownies is now crafting gluten-free brownies. These all-natural, kosher, bite-size Magic Morsels are baked in rich Chocolate Chip and velvety Cream Cheese flavors.

Why eliminate Gluten?

Eliminating gluten from one’s diet is serious business for those with celiac disease. The protein found in wheat, rye, and barley triggers an immune reaction that wreaks havoc on the small intestine. Even the slightest amount of gluten will trigger an immune response that could damage the small intestine.

Those who don’t have celiac disease but are gluten intolerant or sensitive, find that when they eliminate foods that contain gluten, their intestinal issues go away.

And still others avoid gluten to lose weight.

Why Gluten-Free Brownies?

There are many delicious, naturally gluten-free foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meat, and most low-fat dairy products. But sometimes a craving for baked goods hits.

For several years now, customers would call, email, and visit Fairytale team members at trade shows, requesting gluten-free brownies.

So, our New Products Team devised a plan, and our Baking Team delivered. We had plenty of eager gluten-free volunteer taste testers come forward.

Although our Gluten-Free Magic Morsels are baked in the same kitchen as our other treats, stringent care is taken so that there is no cross-contamination. Once baked, the gluten-free brownies are sent to an outside laboratory to be tested. When they pass under 20 parts per million (ppm), we’re able to call them gluten-free Magic Morsels.
